In order to ensure that you as a customer always have maximum uptime on your bulk handling equipment, we recommend regular servicing of all equipment with moving parts, including transport augers, rotary valves, slide gates and dosing units.
In addition to having critical spare parts in your own warehouse, we recommend that your rotary valves are regularly sent to PAM for drilling out the housing, leveling the rotor and replacing bearings and seals. These are special tasks which requires specialist skills.
In order to be able to send your rotary valves for renovation, it is recommended that you have at least one extra rotary valve in your own warehouse, which you can quickly put in operation while the other is out for service. This gives you the opportunity to plan the actual replacement of the rotary valve during a scheduled maintenance, instead of waiting until you may have an unfortunate break down.
Renovation of Rotary valves
PAM’s rotary valves are of such high quality that they can usually be renovated 5-6 times before a new one is needed. Since renovation is considerably cheaper than buying a new one, your average annual cost for rotary valves becomes very low already after the first renovation. Since the renovation of a rotary valve results in significantly lower CO2 emissions than buying a new one, you are also doing the environment and your own CO2 accounts a huge favor by renovating.
